Material Safety Data Sheets
This natural dishwasher detergent gel has been formulated to work in all dishwashers, please follow the instructions to get the best dishwashing detergent experience.
LOAD DISHWASHER- Make sure items can be safely washed in a dishwasher. Silver, aluminum and stainless steel should be washed in separate loads to avoid discoloration. Load items with soiled surfaces facing the center of the bottom rack, for optimum dishwashing experience. Filling your dishwasher and washing full loads of dishes conserves water.
ADD DISWASHER DETERGENT GEL- Fill dishwasher dispenser cup 1/2- 2/3 full. Use less dishwasher detergent gel for soft water/smaller loads. For very hard water we recommend using Seventh Generation Rinse Aid.
For very hard water we recommend using our Rinse Aid.
Please recycle automatic dishwasher gel bottle when it is empty

I have always made sure gunk is off my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Otherwise dishes don't seem to come out clean no matter the dishwasher I've used or the type of soap. I put a little of this pre-wash compartment and the regular soap compartment to the lowest line. Works very well which is nice. I bought it because I don't want toxic residue on my dishes. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the hard water stains sometimes that are on my dishes.
As a loyal use of Seventh Generation products it would be nice if they gave me some coupons though:)
Best Dishwasher soap we've used! Previously we were using that "C" brand and their "complete" tabs, well they weren't so complete. Or at least I didn't think so as I was washing the dishes by hand after taking them out of the dishwasher (supposedly clean)! I haven't noticed any residue on my dishes, and the glasses are always crystal clear! I highly recommend it! Not only do we have clean dishes, I feel confident the soap going into my septic system isn't hazardous to the earth.
FINALLY!!! A dishwashing detergent that works!!! I have tried EVERYTHING!!! I mean EVERYTHING! This is the only stuff I have ever used where I don't have to prewash or rewash my dishes going in or coming out of the way too expensive dishwasher I wasted money on years ago. THANK YOU!! You have finally made me not regret getting it. THANK YOU!
Unfortunately I had to stop buying this product as it was leaving stains in my coffee cups that were building and building with each cycle. I was also discouraged by how fast we went through the bottle. I tried using more detergent thinking it would get my dishes cleaner, that didn't work either. Also, I would have specs of food that stuck onto my cups that I never had a problem with before. Since changing back to a non eco friendly product I haven't had any of these issues and my coffee stains are finally coming off my cups. Can anybody reccoment a different eco friendly automatic dishwasher detergent that does work?
I forgot to mention, I have ben using the non-improved formula. I recently re-read the directions, and will see if my complaints were due to human error.
I have recently gone on a shopping trip and have purchased the improved formula of the same "Lemon" smell. I will wait to see my results before I purchase the Rinse aid, as Tucson is well known for it's hard water.
